Biographical and Professional Information

Wennington is a former basketball player-turned-writer-turned-analyst. He played in the NBA for 13 years, including six seasons with the Bulls. After joining the team in 1993, following a two-year stint in Italy, he played a key role in the Bulls’ second three-peat from 1996-1998. Following his playing career, Wennington parlayed his media-friendly demeanor into broadcasting, first as a sideline reporter at Bulls games and then in his current role as radio color commentator for all Bulls games. He also serves as the coordinator of the Bulls’ player development program.

Wennington is in the Quebec Basketball Hall of Fame and the St. John’s University Hall of Fame.
